The district court summarily denied Defendant’s motion requesting a hearing and granted the government’s turnover motion. The government moved for an order directing the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to turn over $2,084 from Defendant’s inmate trust account to pay the remaining balance of his restitution obligation. The Violence Against Women Act of 1994 also required the court to order restitution to the victims of Defendant’s child pornography offense. Circus of Horrors Blu-ray Scream Factory 1960 / Color / 1:78 anamorphic 16:9 / 88/92m. And I won’t turn that into a White House joke. Anton Diffring is the steely-eyed medical maniac with a mission to populate an insane circus exclusively with cosmetically-enhanced prostitutes and criminals. Lame big-top horror pix are common enough, but this fiendishly entertaining delight would inspire the voyeur-sadist in MisterRogers. Le Sang du Vampire / Street Date Ap/ Available from / 29.99 € Starring: Donald Wolfit, Vincent Ball, Barbara Shelley, Victor Maddern, William Devlin, Andrew Faulds, John Le Mesurier, Bryan Coleman.įour out of five psychologists agree that something rotten is alive and well between the sawdust and the high wire in the delirious Circus of Horrors. ![]() Blood of the Vampire Blu-ray + DVD Artus Films 1958 / Color / 1:66 widescreen / 87 min. Artus’ fancy special edition Blu is Region A friendly, although the DVD is Pal and all the extras are French-only. Donald Wolfit is the resurrected mad doctor stealing transfusion blood and committing murders with the help of his deformed servant Victor Maddern but the highlight is the strong performance from favorite scream queen Barbara Shelley. The Baker/Berman producing team gave their Hammer/ Terence Fisher imitation a decent production - good color, autopsy-grade gore, female victims in low-cut gowns - but neither Jimmy Sangster’s script nor the flat direction bring it to life. The man with eyebrows that can kill! Not really, but that’s the impression given by the poster illustration. Street Date Octo/ 34.95 Starring: Barbara Steele, Anthony Steffen, Claudio Gora, Mario Brega, Marina Berti, Ursula Davis, Vassili Karis, Aldo Berti, Betty Delon, Antonio Corevi, Antonio Acqua, Livia Rossetti, Halina Zalewska, Giovanna Lenzi. An Angel for Satan Blu-ray Severin Films 1966 / B&w / 1:85 widescreen / 96 min. Severin’s quality HD transfer is everything we’d want, with dual language tracks and good extras including a Kat Ellinger commentary and a second track featuring stellar input from Ms. Quality performances flatter a flawed screenplay, and the fine direction and attentive cinematography clearly inspired Steele to give it everything she had. Steele’s fan-collectors won’t need extra encouragement, as she’s in most every scene and gets to play a variety of moods from delicate to seductive to outright poisonous. Barbara Steele has one of her better performance showcases in Camillo Mastrocinque’s classy ghost story with a somewhat dispiriting twist.
